Category: Quilting

Type of item: Home Decor

For: Children

Style: Whimsical, Classic

Materials

Quilt-weight cotton, batting, embroidery cottons.

What was your inspiration?

The gorgeous fabrics - some printed with scences from children's stories. This was the first quilt I'd made for ages, machine pieced and quilted, so it was very quick to make.

What are you most proud of?

The bee - it was just a thought that felt right.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Have fun! This is honestly such an easy quilt to make, and the cot size means it's very easy as a first quilt.

Very nice. I make a lot of teddy bears & like to put a bee on them somewhere, too.
