What materials did you use? Cotton fabrics, 1/2 inch foam rubber, pool noodles (for sides of mat) and scraps make up this projecct.

What are you most proud of? Finding a new use for those pool noodle is always a bonus for me!. We have made marble runs, and tossing games, building games and all sorts of fun activites using the noodles. I buy a half a dozen every summer and the kids love them. They are cheap enough to buy several and at the end of the summer they are easy to find on sale. So here it is...another use for those pool noodles!

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Have fun! Add your personal touch to the design. I thought about adding more birds, varying the colors of the body and even thought about adding a little sign that said, "Save the birds" or a name tag for Emerson like those convention name tags...."Hello, My Name is....Emerson".

Thank you. When my grandson, Emerson got older and outgrew his nap pad I made a quilt out of this same image. He has gotten a lot of use out of both. The pattern for the quilt is in my store as well as the nap pad. Thank you, for your kind comments. http://www.craftsy.com/pattern/quilting/home-decor/50-off-elephant-child-baby-quilt/139763
