I took pre made onesies and then traced a copy of my brother's tattoo & a few iron on decals on the front. I used various colors of DMC embroidery floss and some iron on interfacing.
What was your inspiration?
My sister-in-law was pregnant with my 2nd nephew and I wanted to make them something special. My brother has tons of tattoos so I went with a tattoo theme.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Use an iron on interfacing for the inside of the onesie otherwise it will be too stretchy to embroider on.
