What was your inspiration?

I like to hand embroider and needed a wall hanging for the family room. I love the old barns, and each one of these has a quilt block on the barn.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Prewash your fabrics, and take your time.

Very nice! My sister has some blocks that she has embroidered, and would like me to make a quilt of them, so I was looking for ideas as to how to do that. You certainly have done a nice job with yours! By the way, I grew up in Missouri. It's nice to see that there are still lots of quilters there!
