What was your inspiration?
Collette's Vintage Cakes Modern Design, was my inspiration. I loved the embellished part, but wasn't crazy about the antiquing. I attempted to make my first peony, but as you can see, it was a total disaster. Better luck next time. I didn't have time to make the cage, but glad I didn't - it would've been design overload.
What are you most proud of?
I am most proud of the emblelishments.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Give it a try. You never know your capabilities, until you try.
