This quilt was made entirely of baby quilt leftover squares and strips. All but the center diagonal squares were strip quilted until they were at least 6.5 inches in all directions. All squares cut to 6.5 inches.

Back was pieced from more stash and leftover squares. Binding made from a strip of soft fuzzy fabric. Quilted 1/4 inch next to ditch.

What was your inspiration?

I had a drawer full of pretty pink, green and yellow pieces and strips of baby quilt leftovers. I needed 3 baby quilts so I just started sewing and piecing and got all 3 tops done in a weekend. This is the first completed quilt.

What are you most proud of?

Have always wanted to make a string quilt and this is my first.
