What was your inspiration?
I make baby and childrens' shoes at my shop (www.etsy.peachcheeks.com) and I was really looking for a sandal pattern to try out for spring and summer, but I couldn't find any that quite fit what I had in my head. So I decided to just make of the pattern myself.
What are you most proud of?
The coolest thing about this pattern I think as a seamstress, is that it's a great way to use up those really small strips and scraps of fabric that you just don't have the heart to throw away.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Read through the pattern at least once before beginnging the actual cutting and sewing process.
