What was your inspiration?
I needed to make a gift for a baby girl and my inspiration for that dress came from the colors of Rowan yarns. I loved that these colors are what we call "baby" colors, but also are sophisticated. That's what lead me to the choice of stitch patterns used in this dress.
What are you most proud of?
The balance between the number of different stitch patterns, techniques, and the form of a dress.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Make a gauge swatch in the main pattern. If you have never done the technique used, do a little swatch just for that.
