Instructions
Carry the unused yarn loosely with you otherwise it will get too tight.Try on the socks as soon as possible to see if your gauge and knitting is loosely enough!
If unused strand goes over more than 3 to 4 stitches cross it over the working yarn. But do this at alternating positions in each row otherwise the strands will show through.
