Materials
Black cotton thread for black gloves, and fingering yarn for burgundy gloves. I have no idea what brand the yarn is since it is some vintage unlabeled yarn from my stash.
What was your inspiration?
I was playing around with some thread and stiches trying to use up some of my stash. Somehow these gloves were born! I love it when designs happen that way!
What are you most proud of?
That they turned out so well, and that I was able to use up some of my stash. Also most of all that I made up my own chart on the computer for these gloves.
I am not that savvy on the computer, so I was pretty proud of myself for figuring out how to do a chart using the computer. It's not the prettiest chart, but it's legible and most important functional (lol)!
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
These work up pretty fast for an experienced crocheter. But, an advanced beginner could certainly make these. The stitches are pretty basic, sc, dc, ch, sl st, working in the round and in rows.
