What was your inspiration?
I had a ton of small pieces in my fabric stash and I wanted to create an apron pattern that would use these scraps and turn them into something cute and practical.
What are you most proud of?
I love the economy and creativity of the pattern. By its very nature it inspires you to use fabric you already have, thus making it very economical. My favorite part of this pattern is the disappearing pocket. It is so adorable I can hardly stand it.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Don't be afraid of the pleats. I've included tons of pictures, but feel free to skip over pleats and just gather instead.
