Instructions
Start with a chain of 6, double crochet and increase to desired size.For the rose I just crocheted the chain, did a single crochet over and then rolled it and crocheted to the desired shape.
I used a size 3 hook but you can use really any hook and any yarn you want.
For a warmer hat and more fitting for harsh winters you may want to use single crochet.
