The lapped zipper turned out quite well and sewing this dress helped me master my zipper application since there wasn't any other complicated details to distract me.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
This is a fantastic beginner project! For more seasoned sewers, I would recommend choosing fabric with a little bit of stretch, as the pattern does not include a vent.
