Make It

This project was made from an independent Craftsy designer's pattern:
ww Japanese Knot Bags PLUS Blossom »

Difficulty:

Category: Sewing

Type of item: Clothing

For: Women

Style: Mod, Funky, Cute, Formal / Bridal, Holiday, Whimsical, Romantic, Casual

Materials

silks, Steam-A-Seam II, French fusible tricot (but you can use any fabric and just stitch it down)

What was your inspiration?

A tablerunner I found (but it has no label on it for crediting)

What are you most proud of?

That I finished this in time for my daughter's wedding!

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Let snowflakes overlap each other a little, use something that doesn't unravel or FrayChek the edges (a little unraveling is very trendy!) and let the outside edges ruffle a little to give dimension. These are so cute in wool felt! And attaching with a decorative stitch could be very casual and cute.
