What was your inspiration?

I love snowmen but living in southern California doesn't give me much opportunity to actually make one, let alone see one. Unless we drive 2 hours up to the mountains during the winter. So I decided to make a snowman that I could wear and enjoy down here by the beach.

What are you most proud of?

I think my friend Susan looks absolutely adorable in the scarf!

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

If you've never tried needle felting, this might be a good starter project for you. The scarf itself is a very easy and quick knit and with the help of my color photo tutorial within the pattern, you should have your snowman made in just a few minutes. And you won't have to be out in the freezing cold to get it made!
