What was your inspiration?
An Engagement Party where the Bride's favorite color is purple, but the the thought of entirely purple cupcakes sounded too dark! This was a perfect solution, and delicious too!
What are you most proud of?
It was my first experience using fondant and I wanted the process to be easy enough to make a lot of cupcakes in a short amount of time. I think they came out very simple, and they still tasted great!
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Practice a few flowers using different shape cutters or small molds then have your cupcakes all ready before you place the fondant. Don't put the fondant on far in advance, or it will absorb the moisture from the frosting and lose it's shape.
