I followed all the instructor's suggestions and it came out great! The only thing I did differently is that I used matching threads for the applique instead of contrasting threads.Difficulty:

What was your inspiration?
Took the course for Kimberly Einmo's Jelly Roll Quilts. I liked her choice of fabrics so much that I duplicated the quilt top she made for the course. She made this quilt very easy to make and it really did go together quickly.
What are you most proud of?
This is my first real attempt at applique. It was really easy to do and actually fun to put it all together. An instant confidence builder. I would recommend this to anyone.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
If you follow the course as designed by Kimberly Einmo, you can't go wrong on this project.
