Love the print on this! Looks like the perfect summer skirt to me.

Thanks! I was happy to have found it on clearance...and that there was enough left for this skirt!

What a great summer skirt. I love to wear skirts in the spring and summer. This is a cute fabric and it turned out really well - fits you nicely.

Thanks so much! I'm a skirt person too--being a cyclist/runner my body proportions are completely off for pants/shorts that fit well, skirts are so much easier (and cooler!).

Great job! You inspired me to look into that class too.

Thanks! It's a good one, I've gotten a lot out of it!

Hi! I also fell in love with this model. Just out of curiosity: did you make a toile for this skirt, too or did you use the size that would fit you best? I think you did a really fine job!

I guess this kind of WAS my toile! It was fabric on clearance at the fabric store and was less expensive than the muslin, so I decided to use it. I actually had to size down a little bit, as my measurements are all a couple of inches smaller than the sizes indicated, but the fit of the skirt is incredibly forgiving which helps a LOT with fit!

The skirt looks so summery! Great job! Love how you used clearance fabric...you would never know it!!
