Materials
Construction paper - 18 pieces - Dark Green, Red & White - plus a strip of red ribbon. Each piece of paper is cut into 32 equal pieces, folded into triangular 3-D origami modules and assembled per a pattern (my own design).
What was your inspiration?
I wanted to create something from a traditional eastern culture, yet keep it 'cool' enough for teenagers to enjoy it also. I've had numerous teens ask me for a dragon over the past year or so - this is the result!
What are you most proud of?
The vibrancy this piece brings to a room.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Make and assemble the pieces/parts in the order prescribed in the kit instructions - assembly will be much easier than just 'winging it!'
