reproduction fabrics

What was your inspiration?

Easter egg colors.

What are you most proud of?

I love the reproduction fabrics, they are light hearted and I think this will be pretty for my Easter table.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Get the Lil' Twister tool, actually get the Twister and the Lil' Twister...you are going to want them both! This is absolutely a quilt for a beginner. All you do for this is sew 5" charm squares together till you have 5 inches more than the length you want and same for the width. Use the tool to recut and then restitch and you are done! There is no matching seams, no fuss, really easy, great results!!!

Thank you for the advice about the Twister and Lil' Twister - I was wondering how to get this kind of result. I think it's lovely and I love the cats too (I used to have one that looked just like the tabby and white one on the left many years ago).

I had to look twice. Your cats are the twins of my daughter's kitties...Laverne & Shirley! Love the table runner.
