What was your inspiration?

I love making clothes for my Little Monkey - something easy and practical. I came across this free pattern and just had to give it a go!

What are you most proud of?

The Lace! The original top ended up being too short for my LM (as you would expect using a 6-12 months sized pattern for a 14 or 15 months old). The lace made it long enough - and oh so romantic!!!

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

I made the pinkish top first. I used a 6-12 months old sized pattern. My Little Monkey was 14 or 15 months back then, and I didn't take into account she was taller that a 6 months old bub. I have truly become a fan of my measuring tape since ;) I also learned that lace helps make things longer and cutter ;)

Although it is nice to be able to look at free patterns It is a little wrong that this site redirects you to somewhere totally against what this pattern is about!!!
