What was your inspiration?
I wanted to design a quilt using my own machine embroidery designs.
What are you most proud of?
That all the techniques that I used added something to the quilt. I used trapunto and machine outline embroidery for the flowers in the sashing and then hand painted them. I chose the quilting motifs with the intention of painting them after the quilting was completed.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Take it slow.
