Instructions

I found it easier to work these on two circulars instead of dpns, so I could keep the cable centered on one set of needles. I wanted the gloves to be a little short on the wrist, so I designed them that way, but if you prefer a longer cuff, simply do an extra rep of the cable pattern before you start to work the palm.

When I found this reversible cable in an old Vogue book, I was in love!

The reversible cable may actually look better inside out!

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

I found working with two circulars was easier for me than dpns--I could keep the cable pattern centered on one circular, so I didn't get messed up when I was trying to concentrate on increasing to shape the gusset.
