What are you most proud of? That I finally did this! I have seen lots of these and needed to make one. My son is still too young, and this was a great first try.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? I made some things a little small, so i would add an extra bit. I am not a fan of applique. But if you like it, do it. I suggest you grab a few coloring books to see how much space you need. I wanted this to be able to hold at least 2 books. But it works great as a book cover too. :)

Very clever idea! Good for anytime, but especially great for travel or whenever a child has to sit for long stretches of time.

That was my thought too! We also discovered that it fits her leap pad thing... I am not exactly sure what it is, but it fits too! :)
