What was your inspiration?
I've seen several of these and I wanted to make something for my niece. I purchased a quiet book cartridge for my cricut and decided to try to cut the letters out of fabric for this instead first. My niece likes to color and I figured this is a great idea to keep her busy when out and about.
What are you most proud of?
That I finally did this! I have seen lots of these and needed to make one. My son is still too young, and this was a great first try.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
I made some things a little small, so i would add an extra bit. I am not a fan of applique. But if you like it, do it. I suggest you grab a few coloring books to see how much space you need. I wanted this to be able to hold at least 2 books. But it works great as a book cover too. :)
