What materials did you use? cotton fabric dye, soda ash, salt canning jars baling twine hose tea pot of boiling water wash rack outside of barn with hose

What advice would you give someone starting this project? I like to use things that I have already without having to buy additional materials. I'd save little containers that you can use for the dye bath and a sturdy bucket for the stock bucket. I felt like I was making soup.

Thank you, it's hard to tell from the photo, but I wanted to show how I started with the fabric on the left, progressed by adding another color, then another to get the center piece. The two on the left I put into turquoise after the yellow,
