What are you most proud of? I finally found a great combination of tool and project. I'd never liked my Norwegian Knitting Thimble for colorwork until I tried it on this project. I've found it is amazing for double knitting! I can knit nearly as fast with it on double knitting as I do on plain knitting now. Nice!

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Be sure to place stitch markers at the end of each motif and perhaps several places between, then mark your pattern to show where your markers are placed. Matching the markers to where you are on the pattern will help prevent major tinking expeditions - very helpful on this trailing design. It's just not as easy to read double knitting as it is other colorwork, especially when you are beginning. Also, invest $2 in a Norwegian Knitting Thimble and learn to use it! Place the primary color in the loop that will be closest to the front of your work. Once you get used to it, you will be able to double knit far faster than without. And lastly... this is NOT social knitting!
