This project involves many long seams. Be careful not the catch the excess fabric in your machine. I rated this project a 2 in terms of diffictulty because of the zipper.

What was your inspiration?

Store purchaced duvet covers are so expensive. Also, you are limited to their color and print selections. I wanted to make something that was affordable and that went well in our bedroom.

What are you most proud of?

I'm proud of the long zipper that I inserted on the back side of the cover. It's not perfect, but what is?

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Measure the width of your bed and place the seams at those marks. Since fabric is typically 44 inches wide, you'll have to do some piecing, so make sure seams are where you want them. I wish I had paid a bit more attention to design elements.
