Thank you. I was just thinking I may need to do another silk project perhaps something with applique - though silk frays really badly so I need to think on it. Thanks for your kind words

Hi, I "stumbled" on your quilt when I searched "wholecloth quilts" on CRAFTSY. Boy did I get an eye full when I saw this one. I have been wanting to make my own wholecloth quilt...bucket list item...but will have to be a pre-printed version to start. This is SO incredible that now I'm trying to figure out how to achieve a look like this without the long arm. I'm sure you are very proud of this quilt - and you Should Be. It would be wonderful if Nolting would produce some of these blocks in stencil or some pattern form for those of us who quilt on domestic machines. I'd love to have this on my bed for sure. Thanks so much for sharing your beautiful quilt with us.

Hi Julie. Thank you for your lovely comments. The patterns used for most of the design work are from One Song Needle Arts. Her website is down right now, but her patterns are being sold through They have both computerized designs as well as some embroidery designs, but I couldn't see any paper versions for One Song (though there are many others which may also work for you) If you contact them and explain what you would like to do they may be able to help. Cheers Marlene

Thank you so much for the information I shall see what I can find there asap. Not only are you talented...You are as gracious as a "Southern Girl"...(so am I_) I shall anxiously watch for your future "offerings" in photograph and I hope there will be new ones soon. Thanks again, Julie
