What materials did you use? Dryer lint? Seriously? Yes! I couldnt resist the soft color and textures in a sheet of lint pulled from my dryer trap. I created the fabric by layering the lint with a cotton backing, a sprinkling of snippets and glitter, a layer of organza, and random stitching to hold it all together. I lined the purse with purple cotton, and added a snap closure covered by a hand-made, metallic thread embellished bead. A few Swarovski crystals dot the front. Just the right size for a smart phone (not included, of course!) Inside is about 3.5 by 5 and the outside finished size is about 4.5 by 5.5. Truly one of a kind!

What are you most proud of? It's originality.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Be careful pulling the lint from the dryer: the tiny fibers do float around and can be irritating to sinuses. Also, don't collect too much dryer lint before using it....it could become a fire trap.
