What was your inspiration?
I started with the type of sweater. I wanted to make a simple top down sweater and use drop stitches for the A-line shaping. I decided on a nice drapey yarn made of cotton and hemp.
What are you most proud of?
I am really pleased at how wearable the sweater is. I have been wearing it this winter over long sleeves.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
If you want to substitute yarn I would suggest something with a little texture and some drape to it.
