What was your inspiration?

I wanted to finish the dresser scarf and try some additional techniques from Cindy. I would do the center medallion differently - I wouldn't do the straight lines in the center. I should have just done the feathers and then the straight line quilting. I absolutely LOVE the cathedral window pattern, and I didn't do anything else in sunshine and shadows because I really like how the pattern works with the fabric. I now understand why you quilt to the edge and beyond.....I didn't and the piece ripples, but on the next piece I did, I went past the edge, and it's perfectly flat.

What are you most proud of?

Creating the freeform feathers, and then the cathedral window pattern.
