What materials did you use? Material on sale $4 a metre, a lovely linen and silk blend, thread, metal zipper, lining, Butterick 5952

What are you most proud of? I don't have a waist and I used Susan Khalje's extra width fabric seam allowance and adjusted the it at the waist. Very pleased with fit.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Lovely pattern, and don't ho hum about lining it as I did, it is extra work but really quite easy.

This looks very dressy (expensive). Great fabric/pattern combo.

Hi, even when I was purchasing the fabric the shop assistant was amazed at the price $4 a metre? Lol
