Share a little about the materials, processes and techniques used to create this cake: Inspired by the lace and buttons of the bride's stunning dress I adapted some of Rachael Teufel's lessons to exactly recreate the lace - followed Rachael's instructions for making bespoke silicone moulds but then used Cake Lace (similar to Sugarveil but stays soft for longer) rather than gum paste. This was due to the fact the lace was so delicate the detail wasn't showing up with gum paste (and it looked too chunky as well). I then piped the edges and added sugar pearls, and button detail.
What are you most proud of? The picture doesn't quite show it, but the lace looked like lace with all the tiny thread detail and texture.
