Great job..I have been tossing up whether or not to buy one to help me fit my own clothes better..but the prices are horrendous...this look like just the thing I have been looking for.

Goddess - yes. Don't you love her? I made a duct tape one a couple of years ago and she is my fitting buddy

Fantastic job! This is exactly what I've been wanting to make, but just to find the right friend to help! I found another type of dress form on Burda Style.com, which uses the paper form as a basis for making a more solid dress form. The paper form is used as a mold and kept as a backup. First it's lined (inside) with aluminum foil to protect the paper form, then layered (on the foil, inside) with a thick cotton felt/fleece fabric and more paper tape or paper mache. When it's hardened, the outer paper form with the foil is removed, and the new felt covered paper form is then taped together and covered with a tight knit fabric. It looks really good. Excellent bust definition. Mine is about 20 years old and it has a dent in the belly, too! Thanks for sharing.

Barbara shows you how to do it in one of the videos. I got lucky a few years ago and took a class, spent all day with a group of women. We all came home with dress forms.
