What materials did you use? A couple of rolls of duct tape, an old T-shirt, my husband!

What are you most proud of? That it actually worked! It really is me!

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Use a very tight T-shirt, wear your best bra, stand up straight and laugh - a lot!

You need your helper to cut it open - I cut mine up the center back, wriggled out and then taped it closed. I happened to have a wicker dress form that I put it on, then stuffed all the empty spots with newspaper. If I hadn't had that form, I would have put it on a hanger and done a lot more stuffing! If you check the internet for how-tos, there are instructions to make a stand for it.

I bet you could use and old stand up lamp to put it around as well. Thnak you very much for sharing I will be making mine as soon as I get off of here....Happy sewing!!!!

What a great idea for a stand - hadn't thought of that! Good luck with yours and Happy Sewing to you too!

I stuffed mine with old scraps of cloth and fabric. Just haven't gotten around to mounting it onto anything. Do you still use yours and for what function? Draping? Pattern making? I haven't used the body double yet...

I do use it - mostly just to get a rough idea if a pattern is going to fit or how a fabric is going to drape or how I want to place a print. I stick things on it and then look at it reflected in a mirror - that always helps me "see" things. I really should make a new one, it needs to be more accurate.
