I made my Dresden Plates larger than instructed in the directions for the table runner, so I added an extra hour glass triangle to each strip. I made my blocks for the Dresden plates 13" square only because I made the plates and then went looking for a project to use them in.Difficulty:

What was your inspiration?
My teenage son will be traveling to Dresden, Germany this summer. This is a gift for the family he will be staying with.
What are you most proud of?
I'm pretty proud of the whole thing since I've only been quilting for 5 months.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
As a beginner, I wasn't prepared for how difficult the triangles would be, but they came out well and all the work was worth it!
