Learn It

This project was made as part of a Craftsy course:
Craftsy Block of the Month 2012 »

Difficulty:

Category: Quilting

Type of item: Home Decor

For: Home

Style: Traditional, Funky, Casual

Materials

100% cotton, following my color theme.

What was your inspiration?

The movement of the material. I saw one of the other quilter's project and wanted to do something similar, but still giving it an oriental feel.

Your block is my favorite, so far! I am doing red, white and black, so I am especially drawn to this one! I might have to make something similar, for my own quilt... I've got similar fabric in my stash... Love, love, love this!!

Just need to add another comment. If this fabric came in red and white it would look like flames.

I keep catching this one as I skim thru the quilting pics. Still love it. However, I also can imagine it as a green olive with a red pimento. I know, I'm weird.

fabulous choice of fabric. I love the curve of the fabric design. It adds a 3 dimensional look.

funny - I just made a block putting a circle in it as well and I hadn't even seen yours yet. Great minds working together. LOL I love the flow of the fabric. I think if you stare at it long enough you will be able to see it move.
