What materials did you use? Fabric scraps and pieces from my stash.

What are you most proud of? I'm proud of the fact that I used stuff I already had for this pretty project. And I also love the free-motion quilting I did.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Search your fabric scraps for complementary pieces before you begin and then go for it! See more about this project here: http://www.michelemademe.com/2013/04/Dresden-plate-placemats-finish.html

I have wanted to try the Dresdon Plate pattern for some pillows. Your beautiful project is an inspiration to try!

Oh you should! The Dresden plate is a natural fit for pillows I think. :)

Loving these:) I am fairly new to quilting and this size is perfect for me on my way to gaining confidence to eventually build a full size quilt someday. I see you are so industrious and creative!
