Materials

blocks were donated to charity sale, bought them, squared them up and did repairs-all on varied flour sack fabrics and sizes , added sashing with current 30's prints and hand quilted it. Biught it back from auction where donated as I really hated to part with it. Blanket stitches were on original blocks

That looks great, mother in law had an old quilt that was in that design. She told me it belonged to her grandmother. I always wanted it but since she's my ex mother in law it never happened. Now thanks to you I'm going to try to make my own. Thank you

I had never made it a priority to make one either. Then these showed up in our charity quilt supply booth, I took them to redo them to sell then fell in love with them and had to buy the quilt back. It is unfortunate that you did not have the antique ones but maybe better memories this way.
