Learn It

This project was made as part of a Craftsy course:
Quick-Strip Paper Piecing »

Difficulty:

Category: Quilting

Type of item: Functional

For: Charity

Style: Classic

Materials

100% cotton and Warm & Natural batting

What was your inspiration?

Craftsy Course and instructor. Peggy makes paper piecing seem so easy and her instructions are easy to follow. What a great way to make lovely quilts.

What are you most proud of?

Some senior in a wheelchair will enjoy the comfort and warmth of the quilt.

The techniques that I learned in Paper piecing and Free Motion quilting and a great method of quilt as you go that I learned in a book by Marguerite McManus were all used in constructing this quilt.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Try it, it really is a terrific method to learn,

You did a wonderful job on both your piecing and quilting in your Dreamweaver quilt - and what a great way to make a quilt with just 4 blocks! That blue print fabric is really gorgeous, too!
