What are you most proud of? All of it! I love how it turned out!

What advice would you give someone starting this project? It is easier then it looks, and remember, there are no mistakes you can change or fix anything you do. That's how the flowers ended up on my quilt. I had to cover up the hand, it looked really bad. Also, you need to be really careful when applying the textile medium, my color blended into the non-colored area and I've had to go back and color that area also to make it look right.

Your project and your granddaughter are just beautiful. I love how you used the sparkly threads, and the free motion quilting around her. Great job.

The thread, the pose, the colors, are all part of a wonderful design and composition. I can tell that you put alot of tender loving care into this piece. Not only should you be proud but your granddaughter has a piece of art that is beautiful to remember her nanny for the rest of her life. What a present. And just think. You thought that you could not do it. You are a wonderful artist and should go for it. Continue....continue...continue.

That's beautiful! You've captured the little girl's really dreamy look and I love the way you've used coloured threads for the flowers.
