What materials did you use? I used some fat quarters left over from a quilt I made my daughter.

What are you most proud of? I tried to be very tidy in the construction of this bag and it looks pretty good! Adding a lining always confused me before but the instructions are excellent in the class and I got it no problem!

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Just follow along and have fun customizing your bag! I'm going to make one for myself now. I think they will be very useful and are a great way to use up some leftover fabrics/fat quarters in your stash.

Looking good, Angie! I also took this course already. I just need to actually make a bag. Oooh, a good idea would be to make a "storage" bag for our quilts, with the leftover fabric(s) from the project, so you'd know what quilt the bag was holding. Just a thought.

yes, i thought of that! i'm really not good at expanding patterns (ok, i know, there is a drafting lesson in the new bom!) but i think i could probably eke out a square bag for a quilt! thanks! i'm going to try the bucket bag now....

What a great bag for a tween to take her "ditties" to a sleepover. You just inspired me for gifts for my g-kids! Thanks.
