What was your inspiration?

10' tall windows that you can't buy curtains for!

What are you most proud of?

That I finished them.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

I had to have a TON of fabric, and has to resize them TONS to get this size.

They look beautiful, great job! Was this UR first time?. I make curtains, cascades & swags, mostly everything involving the home. I don't use a pattern, but I can see where using a patterns would be soo much easier. Think I am going to try this. Where these curtains lined? I think it gives the fabric a much more custom look. I have plenty of windows! U did a Great job!

I've been a seamstress for awhile, but these were my first drapes. I don't like making drapes!!! These are a pair of windows in my parlor. I lined them with Muslin just because I wanted to save a little money somewhere and the onion fringe was not the place to do it!

I've been a seamstress for awhile, but these were my first drapes. I lined them with Muslin to save a wee bit of money since I had to have sooooooo much yardage for the panels. Thanks for the compliment! I'm hoping to do some frou frou asymmetrical ones for my dining room
