What was your inspiration?
I guess it was a combination of the dragonfly and the wire wrapped stones, crystals, and clusters video course. I didn't have this final look in my mind at all when I started. It kinda just developed and grew as I went.
What are you most proud of?
That I kept going with the design inspiration. I typically take a minimalistic approach with my work I was intending to apply a single bead with the dragonfly stamping on this hair fork. I like the layered wrapped look that I achieved. I think I will try some other pieces with this same look. It was fun.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
If you are new to jewelry making, don't give up if you are not happy with your first attempts. I have been designing for a long time, and there are still days when things don't work out. I know now that all my mistakes help me learn and add to my experience. I used to get so frustrated with myself!
