What was your inspiration?
the pile of drawings I've accumulated over the years...time to do something with them!
What are you most proud of?
Translating drawing from paper to fabric...as soon as the good thread arrives in mail, will be going over different elements so that the dragonflies really pop, will add a little more shadow vs sunshine, will enclose circle in square frame. This design was originally meant to be colored in, which would've defined disparate areas visually, and it is a challenge to figure it out in thread! Good times!
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Save everything! You never know what's going to spark a project!
