What was your inspiration?
This quilt was made for a wedding gift for my son and his bride.
What are you most proud of?
I am so happy I was able to sew this queen size quilt together and hand quilt it just in time for the wedding. This was my biggest project to date and my 5th quilt all together.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
If you are buying this kit please be sure to use precautions to prevent dye bleeding when washing your finished quilt. It comes in precut pieces that have not been prewashed to release excess dye.
I was devastated when I washed my finished quilt and found splotches of blue dye splattered all over the quilt on both sides. I was able to get the most obvious areas fixed but...
