What materials did you use? 100% Cotton fabrics and wadding. Scraps from my other quilts inspired this color combination.

The intense pure white of the quilt back ground create a difficulty I realized when sandwich it on the wadding because the natural creamy color of it creates an ugly transparency of the seams allowances. I had to double layer it with an extra white fabric between the top and the wadding. Turn out to be a great solution, but you can still observe it when the sun hits on my clothing line. It doesn't show when dry and on the bed, but be aware of super whites for quilting!

A very bright and happy color combination! And your quilting is a real star of the show!

Fabulous quilt! I love the colors and your quilting. Thanks for the warning on the bright white background :D

Beautiful work! Did you stop and bury your threads or did you stitch from the center flower to the side feathers without stopping?

Glad you like it! I started making the small circles of the centre of the flowers and travel along the outer centre circle to get to form every next petal. I try to cut threads as less as possible, like Ann, but being not too fussy since my quilts are for every day use not for exhibitions and I make them for my own enjoyment.
