Sewing: Double Sassy Teaser!

Double Sassy Teaser!

Learn It

This project was made as part of a Craftsy course:
Sassy Librarian Blouse »

Instructions

This was my first time doing a Full Bust Adjustment, and it worked perfectly using the links supplied by the course. The course instructions were very clear and it was easy to make the blouse without going back to the video very often.

Difficulty:

Category: Sewing

Type of item: Clothing

For: Women

Style: Cute, Retro / Vintage

Materials

Quilt-weight 100% cotton. These blouses are a teaser...I won't have time to put on the buttons soon, so I thought I'd post the (slightly) unfinished version now.

What are you most proud of?

Finally learning how to do a FBA! And getting over my fear of buttonholes (my last sewing fear after conquering my zipper phobia!).

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Make a muslin to check fit first!

Very ambitious of you to make two blouses. They are very pretty.

Your blouses are so pretty. Congratulations on your new sewing skill -the buttonholes. Keep challenging yourself and trying new things.

Beautiful. Love both blouses, nice fabric choices! Please post pictures of you with them on when you have had a chance to finish the buttons. It is great to be able to "check off" items like zippers and buttonholes once you learn some of the tricks!
