I chose to double knit this project so that I didn't feel like I was 'wasting' the contrast color with all the floats. It is quite a challenge but I LOVE the final result. I didn't put a pom on mine but I toyed with the idea of not closing up the top tightly so that I could draw the pom through when I switched the side I wore the hat on.
