What materials did you use? Cascade 220

Cool! Love the double layers and how each is shaped.

Felting presents many surprises. The shaping on this piece was a complete surprise. It is totally reversible and the shaping works on both sides.

Good job!!I'm dying to knit this!!! Where can I find the pattern?

05/04/2013 Flag

Using one strand of Cascade 220, I began at the center and created a circle of about 8 inches in circumference. Then I knit in the front and back of each stitch around. Then I carefully double knit up the sides , I placed six markers around and crossed my yarns at the markers to make the six pockets. Special care needs to be taken so the pockets remain open. I changed the colors of the yarn where ever it felt good to me. I knit vertically about six inches and then did an I-cord bind off.

Thanks for your pattern, I'll give it a try!

Very cool.. Did you design the pattern.. Love it.

Very nice. Did you use differing numbers of stitches in the layers at all? I have a bowl here but haven't written a pattern yet.

I did straight DK on the same number of stitches. for both sides of the pockets. This bowl is reversible and looks good on either side. I am thinking of making one with two different weights of yarn.

Lucy, any idea when you're bowl pattern will be available?

When and where can we look for your pattern? :)
